Atreyu Sutton

I am an engineering graduate student at the ATLAS Institute at CU Boulder, working across mechanical design, software and hardware. Before this I took a B.A. in Computer Science at Rollins College, and I have run Sutton Web Solutions, my own web and software practice, since 2023.

Most of what I build crosses between the physical and the digital, because I have never found a good reason to treat those as two jobs. I draw the part, machine or weld it, and then write the software that makes it do something. A turntable that streams, a car marketplace built on a scraper I wrote, a pack frame I bent in the shop: they all come from wanting to know how the whole thing works rather than one end of it.

I am in Boulder, Colorado, finishing the masters in 2027. I am looking for work where the mechanical and the software sides are the same job.
